We had a great last day of school this year. The kids were very well behaved, from what I could tell. We ended the day with an hour and a half of a softball game (or other activities of kids' choice). I haven't swung a bat in 20 years. Let's say it wasn't pretty! I used to be a pretty good first base fielder; uh, that left a lot to be desired today too. However, it was fun.
Celebrated the end of the year by going to a traditional Indian Dinner (Chicken Tikka Masala, Butternut Squash Curry, Yellow Dal (sp?) and more) out at the new "Finland Rec. Center." Yeah, this has nothing todo with Okinawa, I know. It was just a fun cultural event here in backwoods MN.
Off to work at the lighthouse tomorrow.
